Pefect Beef Pot Roast


Yum yum yum. The picture is not very pretty, but boy is it tasty. Here is the recipe if you would like to try it.
Serves 6| Hands-On Time: 20m | Total Time: 8hr 00m

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, whisk together the tomato paste, cornstarch, and 1 cup water. Add the carrots, potatoes, onion, celery, and bay leaves and toss to combine. Season the beef with 1½ teaspoons salt and ½ teaspoon pepper and set on top of the vegetables.
  2. Cover and cook until tender, on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours (this will shorten total recipe time). Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before discarding the kitchen twine and slicing the meat across the grain. Serve with the vegetables and cooking liquid and sprinkle with the parsley.

Lemon Chicken--Where its at(:


1) Make sure to defrost your chicken for 5-6 minutes.
2) After defrosting, place your chicken on the grill.
3) When on the grill, put your choice of seasoning on the chicken while it cooks.
4) When the chicken starts to look fully cooked, squirt some lemon juice onto the chicken..this will help the flavor stay on the chicken while it finishes cooking.
5) After the chicken is done cooking, place more lemon juice to give it more flavor!
*An option is also to keep putting lemon juice on your chicken while it cooks entirely.
